Researchers from ETH Zürich and US-based startup Inkbit have 3D-printed the world's first robotic hand with bones, ligaments and tendons made of different polymers using a laser scanning technique. The parts of the hand were printed simultaneously, and not cobbled together after the printing. The polymers used for printing the hand have enhanced elastic properties and are more durable.
