Taiwan Premier Cho Jung-tai said Taiwan is a fully sovereign country, adding that returning to China isn't an option for the country's 23 million people. His remarks came after Chinese President Xi Jinping told US President Donald Trump during a phone call that Taiwan’s “return to China” after WWII remains a key part of Beijing’s vision for the world order.
