A revenue officer in Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur has been caught with 41 plots and assets worth more than ₹30 crore. Alok Dubey, in collusion with Lekhpal Aruna Dwivedi, facilitated the sale of 41 land parcels between 2016 and 2024, covering 8.62 hectares. The Kanpur district administration has demoted Dubey from the post of Kanungo to Lekhpal after a probe.
