Members of Rashtriya Hindu Shakti Sangathan disrupted a beauty pageant rehearsal in Uttarakhand's Rishikesh, calling it "against the culture" of the state. In a purported video from the incident, a member was heard asking participants to "do modelling at their homes". A participant challenged him to stop the sale of alcohol and cigarettes, saying those were more damaging to society.
