Union Minister Kiren Rijiju criticised the "signature campaign" by 18 former judges opposing Amit Shah's remarks about former Supreme Court judge and I.N.D.I.A bloc's vice presidential nominee B Sudershan Reddy. He questioned their involvement in political matters, suggesting it reflects ideological differences held while in office. "Why do retired judges want to get into it?" Rijiju asked.
