India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who retired hurt on Day 1 of Manchester Test, has suffered a toe fracture, his scans confirmed. He has been advised rest for six weeks. With one man short in the playing XI, the team management has asked medical team to check whether Pant can bat after taking a pain killer if required.
