Victims of road accidents undergoing medical treatment often struggle to fund their care because of the lengthy claim procedures before the Motor Accident Tribunal. However, Section 164 of the Motor Vehicles Act allows victims to receive interim compensation from the Court, helping to support their ongoing treatment, explained advocate Deepak Somani.
