A road in North Delhi's Burari will be named 'Shaheed General Bipin Rawat Marg', as decided by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). General Bipin Rawat, appointed as the first Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) of India in 2020, died in a helicopter crash in Tamil Nadu in 2021. He also served as the Chief of Army Staff since 2016.
