Five armed men broke into land mandal Sushil Kalita’s house in Chitlamari–Bongaon, attacking him and his wife before fleeing with cash and 15 tolas of gold. The robbers also dismantled the CCTV system. The injured couple was shifted to Guwahati as police launched a probe into the case.
