A 27-year-old Romanian PhD student of Indian Philosophy at BHU, identified as Philip Francisca, was found dead in her rented room in Varanasi’s Garwasitola. Police said she had a history of epilepsy and that no suicide note was recovered. Her passport and phone were seized, and the Romanian Embassy has been informed as police investigate the matter.
