Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge responded to RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's call for revising history curricula, saying they perceive history differently from what India's actual history is. "They rejected Jawaharlal Nehru's book 'The Discovery of India' and continue rejecting whatever our history professors say," he added. Bhagwat had accused modern history of ignoring India's contributions.
