Speaking at the centenary celebrations of RSS, PM Narendra Modi said the establishment of RSS, hundred years ago, on Dussehra was "not just a coincidence". "This was a resurrection of a tradition which was continuing since thousands of years," he said. "Since its inception, RSS has been striving to build nation…During struggle for independence, [RSS leaders]…went to jail," he added.
