Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's son, Yathindra Siddaramaiah, said that RSS have a "similar mindset to that of the Taliban" and they believe that there should be only one view in one religion. Yathindra stated, "The Taliban issues diktats that Islam should be like this...they curtail freedom of women...similarly, RSS also wants the Hindu religion to function in only one way."
