The Supreme Court held that the provisions of the Right to Education Act, 2009 (RTE Act) must be complied by all schools except the schools established and administered by the minority till the reference is decided. The court held thus while referring the dispute to the CJI and urging to consider whether the issues warrant reference to a larger bench.
