RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das said on Wednesday that the Indian rupee continues to be the least volatile among peer emerging market currencies. "During the current financial year, the exchange rate of Indian rupee has remained largely range-bound," he stated. "The lower volatility of Indian rupee reflects India's strong macroeconomic fundamentals and improved external sector outlook," he added.
