The Indian rupee weakened to 85.86 against the US dollar on Wednesday, down 13 paise from its previous close of 85.73. The decline was driven by a strong dollar overseas and foreign fund outflows. FIIs offloaded equities worth ₹26.12 crore on Tuesday. The rupee traded between 85.81 and 85.9350 during the session, exchange data showed.
