Delegations from Russia and Ukraine gathered in Turkey's Istanbul on Monday for their second round of direct peace talks in just over two weeks to discuss an end to the ongoing war. The Russian delegation was headed by Vladimir Medinsky, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, while the Ukrainian team was headed by Foreign Minister Rustem Umerov.
