While speaking about Operation Sindoor in Lok Sabha, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar revealed what happened before launch of Operation Sindoor. "There were a number of phone calls...At my level, there were 27 calls; at PM Narendra Modi's level, almost 20 calls. About 35-40 letters of support came...and...we tried to...prepare the diplomacy for launch of Operation Sindoor," he said.
