Amid US President Donald Trump's tariff threats, Singapore PM Lawrence Wong called for "100% tariff elimination" across the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) region. "We should further reduce non-tariff barriers to make it easier for businesses to operate across ASEAN," he stated. Wong added, "We should upgrade our FTAs with key partners like China, India and South Korea."
