France-based Safran Aerospace has announced that they plan to set up Safran Aircraft Engine Services India in Telangana's Hyderabad. This entity will focus on the maintenance and overhaul of Rafale fighter jet engines, specifically the M88 engines. The Telangana government estimates that this will create 150 new jobs by the end of 2026 and another 750 positions in subsequent phases.
