The Supreme Court on Monday observed that the Samajwadi Party "misused official position and political power" to occupy office space in UP's Pilibhit for ₹115. The court was hearing SP's plea against the Nagarpalika Parishad's eviction order. "Have you ever heard of office space in a municipal area for ₹115 rent? This is a clear abuse of power," it added.
