Ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, ex-India all-rounder Irfan Pathan opined that India wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson might not get a place in the playing XI during the tournament. "If Samson can play down the order, then why not? Play him as well in the number 5 position," Irfan added. "If that happens, then Jitesh Sharma won't be there," he stated.
