Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw presented a list of items that attracted higher taxes during the UPA's regime and on which the taxes have been reduced under GST 2.0. "The tax on sanitary pads has been reduced from 13% to 0%...tax on coffee has been reduced from 30% to 5%," he said. The other items include cement, paint, TVs, and refrigerators.
