UK government has named Sarah Mullally as the new Archbishop of Canterbury, making her the first woman to lead the Church of England in its almost 500-year history. Mullally also becomes the ceremonial head of around 85 million Anglicans worldwide. The 63-year-old, who is a former NHS chief nurse, became a priest in 2006.
