India could see satellite communication (SATCOM) services launch by 2026, according to ISpA Director General Lt Gen A K Bhatt (Retd). He added firms like OneWeb, Starlink, and Amazon's Kuiper would start services after spectrum allocation and regulatory clearances. SATCOM aims to deliver internet connectivity to remote areas lacking viable terrestrial infrastructure.
