An eyewitness who saw the explosion near Red Fort in Delhi said, "I was at my shop, and suddenly I heard a huge blast...when I went down, I saw body parts scattered on the road." At least eight people reportedly died and several others have been injured after the explosion happened near gate number 1 of Lal Quila Metro Station.
