SBI has stopped processing transactions of Nayara Energy, partly owned by Russia's Rosneft, over risks amid US' tariffs and EU's sanctions, ET reported. "There has been no government direction but every bank has to take a call on how to deal with these issues," a source said. Tariffs and sanctions have made processing of Nayara's transactions "difficult", they added.
