The Supreme Court has acquitted two men who were accused of raping a minor girl in the year 2014. One of the two accused was awarded death sentence by the Trial Court. The Court allowed appeals challenging the judgment of the Uttarakhand High Court, which partially upheld the conviction and sentence awarded by the Special Judge.
