Supreme Court asked Telangana Speaker to decide within three months on the petitions seeking disqualification of 10 BRS MLAs who defected to ruling Congress. Stating that it cannot permit a situation of "operation successful but patient dead", the court set aside an order of a division bench of Telangana High Court against fixing a schedule to decide on the pleas.
