The Supreme Court has cancelled medical bail granted to former-DHFL promoter Dheeraj Wadhawan in the ₹34,000-crore bank loan scam case. The case stems from 2024, when Dheeraj, former-DHFL Chairman, Kapil Wadhawan and others were accused of conspiring to cheat 17 banks. They were also accused of allegedly inducing the banks to sanction ₹42,871 crore loans, much of which was misappropriated.
