The Supreme Court on Monday declined to entertain a petition challenging Assam government's push-back policy of dealing with infiltration from Bangladesh. The court asked petitioner to approach Gauhati High Court. The petition alleged Assam government has launched indiscriminate drive to detain and deport people suspected to be foreigners, even in absence of Foreigners Tribunal declarations.
