The Supreme Court granted anticipatory bail to Malayalam actor Sidhique in a rape case. Sidhique will have to deposit his passport and cooperate with the investigating officer in the probe, the court said, noting that the complaint in the case was filed in August, eight years after the alleged incident. Kerala High Court had earlier rejected Sidhique's anticipatory bail plea.
