The Supreme Court, alarmed by delays in judgment delivery by High Courts, directed that if a reserved verdict isn't delivered within three months, it must be flagged to the Chief Justice, who will ensure it's pronounced within two weeks or reassign it. The order came during an appeal against interim orders by the Allahabad High Court in a criminal case.
