A day after ordering the permanent relocation of stray dogs from Delhi-NCR, the Supreme Court issued a circular directing proper disposal of leftover food inside its campus to prevent animal bites. Citing a rise in stray sightings, the court stressed using covered containers only. It earlier directed Delhi to build shelters for 5,000 canines within eight weeks.
