The Supreme Court dismissed the appeals filed by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), assailing the common judgment of the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL), New Delhi in a tariff dispute. It held that the price at which power is to be procured by a distribution licensee from a generating company is not a matter of consensus.
