Supreme Court on Monday agreed to hear PIL on the use and regulation of AI after 2 weeks. The petition sought enactment of appropriate law for regulated and uniform use of GenAI in Judicial and quasi-judicial bodies. CJI BR Gavai remarked that the judiciary is aware of the misuse of AI and said, "Yes, we've seen our morphed pictures too."
