The Supreme Court will hear petitions challenging the Election Commission of India’s move to conduct a Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Bihar on July 10. The petitioners had requested an urgent hearing, stating people will be removed from the electoral roll by July 25 if they don't submit documents. Four petitions have been filed against the exercise.
