The Supreme Court on Wednesday said it will constitute a special bench to hear Justice Yashwant Varma's petition challenging the court's in-house inquiry committee's report in the cash-at-home row. CJI BR Gavai recused himself from the case, stating that it may not be proper for him to take up that matter as he was also part of the inquiry committee.
