The Supreme Court has transferred a case to the CBI, involving the alleged suicidal death of a 17-year-old female student at a hostel in Vishakhapatnam, who was preparing for the NEET examination. It emphasised upon the right to mental health under Article 21 of Constitution. An appeal was filed by the deceased student’s father, challenging the AP High Court’s judgment.
