The Supreme Court has upheld the acquittal of a man booked under the provisions of Sections 498A and 306 of the IPC. The Court took note of the scientific report, which suggested that the cylinder and gas stove were kept inside the bedroom, and as a result of the fire, the entire family suffered injuries.
