Tesla CEO Elon Musk described OpenAI CEO Sam Altman as a "swindler" and called him "Scam Altman" after the latter rejected Musk-led group's offer to purchase the AI company. "No thank you but we'll buy Twitter for $9.74 billion if you want," Altman had replied. A consortium said it has offered $97.4 billion to buy the nonprofit that controls OpenAI.
