The Telangana government has ordered all schools in five districts to remain closed on August 13 and 14 in view of the red alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Officials have also declared a half-day holiday in schools in Hyderabad on August 13, while IT companies have been advised to provide work from home facilities.
