Harvard scientist Avi Loeb has called on global leaders to prepare for a possible alien attack, saying that interstellar object 3I/ATLAS, which has entered our solar system, could be an extraterrestrial mothership. The object was spotted on July 1 by NASA-funded ATLAS survey telescope. "We need an international organisation that will make policy decisions about such an object," Loeb said.
