Prashant Sharma, a scientist known as 'water man' in Chhattisgarh, is using microbes instead of machines to clean polluted waters. He developed 'E-Ball', a biological sphere containing millions of microbes which is capable of purifying polluted waters naturally over extended periods. Traditional purification methods can cost ₹2-3 lakh per acre annually while E-Ball does the job in around ₹7,000.
