Scientists from Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) have developed a biodegradable memory device that dissolves in water. The material called PCL-TEMPO, can be safely implanted in the human body and the researchers can control when it will dissolve. Once the researchers start the process, the device can dissolve in water in about three days, leaving no residue behind.
