Scientists reveal long-term air pollution raises risk of dementia

Scientists from Cambridge University have found that long-term exposure to air pollution can increase the risk of dementia. The study revealed "positive and statistically-significant association" between dementia and three air pollutants, including PM2.5, NO2 and soot. "Tackling air pollution can deliver long-term health, social, climate, and economic benefits," an author of the study said.
