SEBI is likely to introduce an intraday limit in index options trading, Moneycontrol reported, citing people familiar with the matter. It's considering increasing the intraday monitoring threshold to ₹5,000 crore, while keeping the ₹10,000-crore gross ceiling unchanged. The move follows the regulator’s February 2025 consultation paper that had proposed higher intraday thresholds but was withdrawn.
