The initial public offering of Vedanta Group's Sterlite Electric has been put on hold, according to SEBI. The IPO included a fresh issue of 7.8 million shares, along with an equal number of shares to be sold by existing shareholders. SEBI hasn't given a reason for the hold, and Vedanta is yet to issue a statement on the subject.
