Section 144 has been imposed in Pune's Yavat village amid communal tensions over an objectionable social media post allegedly made by a youth. Police had to resort to a lathi-charge after two groups clashed in the village, pelted stones and vandalised properties. "The situation is under control, and there is no need to panic," Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar said.
