US President Donald Trump's effort to curtail birthright citizenship was declared unconstitutional by a second US appeals court, upholding injunctions won by Democratic-led states. Trump earlier ordered agencies to refuse to recognise citizenship of US-born children without at least one parent who is an US citizen/green card holder. Trump's order violated Constitution's 14th amendment, said court.
